Réuel’s shows easily mesmerize audiences. Part musical nonconformist, part genius, he is considered by many to be the complete virtuoso. The young, talented, classically trained concert pianist and composer has been surprising people with his artful capacity since he was eleven years old. He has performed his classical works world wide. His ability to combine unique classical styling with a love of popular music has helped to coax a new and younger audience to appreciate sophisticated compositions. This accomplishment has earned him the praise of many of his contemporaries. His natural talent, flair for the spectacular and imposing stature has created a constant demand for live musical presentations.

The classical instruction Réuel acquired was under the direction of such notables as Professor Victor Bunin at The Tchaikovsky Conservatory and the highly regarded Dr. Julia Kruger. It was Dr. Kruger who discovered Rѐuel when he was only twelve years. The manner in which he was able to proficiently mix classical styling and improvisation helped lead to winning numerous national and international level piano competitions. His talent has afforded him the distinct honor of performing on three different occasions at the most prestigious Carnegie Hall in New York City.

Réuel has coined the phrase “mod-class” to describe his music. The “mod-class” movement has helped to usher in a whole new breed of skillful prodigies. After being accepted into The Berklee College of Music he composed scores for seven individual domestic film projects, Réuel was then offered the unusual opportunity to score a foreign feature film. That film, which was screened at The Warner Brothers Burbank Studios, has gone on to win numerous awards from film festivals world wide. He is still highly sought after to expertly score films, TV commercials and multi-media projects. He has already released four albums of original compositions and his fifth CD, which is near completion, will be available early in 2012.

Réuel’s performances at exclusive hotels around the country such as The Stanley, Broadmoor and The Four Seasons have been enthusiastically received by over flow groups of ardent fans. During any of his hotel engagements it is not usual to see out of town guests mixing with locals, members of the press, and the elite supporters of various performing arts groups. His club and hotel performances have been a precursor to the release of his next album and upcoming tour both entitled ”Lumiére du Son”. During this time he has been constantly trying new material in order to create what he will do on his concert stage. Réuel’s presentations keep audience members feeling that if they leave they may miss something. The very first “Wednesday Evening Performance” he presented at The Four Seasons In Austin was once again a repeat of other engagements because of the surging attendance. Management was prompted to engage additional staff to service the over crowded space and since seating was at a premium additional chairs had to be brought in to accommodate spectators. Hotel guests would curiously stop as they walked through the lobby hearing applause irrupt as Réuel would finish a classical rendition of an easily recognizable popular tune or a modern improvisation of classics like Malaguena by Ernesto Lecuona.

Presently living in Austin, Réuel has been actively involved in the classical music scene .and is frequently asked to perform for charity events. Some of his favorite performances include his concert in Tolentino, Italy and the special evening performance at The House of Dereon Media Center in Houston, Texas. The House of Dereon is an intimate private concert hall owned by Beyonce Knowles and family. The space has featured many well known performers to exclusively invited list of guests. Réuel was one of the few pianists who were part of The 2006 GRAMMY Hilton Harmony Tour. During one of his visits to Los Angeles he was invited to perform at The Recording Academy home office for a select group of GRAMMY Award staff members.

Standing at 6’-4” Réuel is a formidable figure towering over most of his fans. His mode of dress has separated him from other classically trained pianists since he has taken off the standard concert tuxedo with tails and replaced it with a modern, cutting edge style of dress. It is not unusual for him to show up for a performance in a leather motorcycle jacket ornamented with chains, cowboy boots, rings and wearing one of his many signature diamond encrusted watches. His style of dress is edgy and strikingly worthy of his showmanship. In a recent interview with The Austin American Statesman he commented on how his style entices the audience to watch and then with his piano performance he lures them into his world of harmonics and melody.

Reuel, along with his design team of advisers and co-creators, commissioned a custom piano exclusively for his use. The Réuel Regal Piano project was a process that took more than a year in planning and construction. This one of a kind instrument was care-fully hand made in Houston, Texas by experienced craftsmen using only the highest caliber of selected materials. The piano was painstakingly fabricated piece by piece from specially ordered raw materials that were then milled and assembled under the strictest of specifications. The Regal Piano with its gently sweeping legs and sleek execution presents a classic silhouette with a majestic modern flair. Standing alone on a stage the handcrafted achievement exhibits an image of movement and agility. Overall, the Réuel Regal Piano is a transcendental embodiment of the artist’s musical talent.
